The family behind Goodwood.
Goodwood Design Co. is a family-owned woodworking business in Marshall, Wisconsin, run by Adam, Kayla, and their three sons. Our woodworking experience spans more than 20 years. Our work is hands-on, from choosing materials to shaping, engraving, and finishing the pieces we make. Our workshop combines traditional woodworking with CNC routing and laser engraving for custom details, precise components, and personalized work.
We work with customers on the details that matter: what a piece is for, how it will be used, and what will make it personal. Some projects start with a Goodwood design. Others start with an idea you bring to us.
From material to finished piece
The character is already there.
Reclaimed wood and authentic whiskey barrels bring grain, char, staining, cooperage marks, curves, and wear to the work. We pay attention to those details as we choose, shape, and finish materials for a new purpose.
Materials vary from piece to piece. That natural variation is part of the appeal, whether it is the curve of a barrel stave or the grain running through a finished design. The materials we use depend on the product and project.
